Hi people we are getting into 3rd round and this week is very important for all the teams to either move towards semis or cement the position for semis. WE WISH ALL THE BEST.
At AISL we are preparing for FINALS, which is on Saturday the 13th of September 2008, we extend our invitations to all the teams and their members. This day would be full of fun and joy.
i was down to watch the big game betwee Yogiji's Vikings and Oporto tonight.. What was built up as a big game turned out to be nothing as Yogiji's Vikings showed their class tonight. Team Oporto who i was told was a good team were average at best against a strong Vikings team.. Vikings seem to enjoy tghe tougher game, where as team Oporto just crumbled and choked.. Their captain Vishal was all talk and team oporto are gone.. I look forward to viking and Urja Raiders next week.. I think these 2 teams will go through to the semi and team oporto can go home.. They are overrated..
it is really brave of you to put this comment but first of all you have tried to speak about a team and its captain directly which is not sportsmanship, anyways those are your personnel views. Also appreciate you dropped into see the games it would have been even great if you had given your name. And on top of that this is Cricket every team has its day.
hi there, just replying to that anonymous person who commented on the vikings game against Oporto.. I play for the Vikings team and i cant disagree more about what that person has said.. It was a tough game and our team played well to come through for the win.. However to say that Oporto are overrated is unfair.. They are a good team and have shown it so far. And i dont agree about personal attacks on players on a website, Vishal did a good job, and will continue to do a good job for Team Oporto.. Any person who isn't brave enough to put their name by a comment made is weak and should not make comments if he/she cant stand by them with their name..

1st of all - congratulation, this indoor tournament is doing great.. well done for organising it!
I have 2 questions 4u - what is the frequency of this type of Tournament to be held again, given that it has been successful this time round?
And what are the chances for the criteria to be extended from Indians only to Asian Countries .. for instance Pakistan, Sirlanka & Bangladesh? so all can participate ?

Hi Sunny and also other people firstly thanks that you have come forward and shared your views. AISL is about promoting sports, Cricket is the start , we are working on other projects too.
About your questions Indoor Cricket is going to be an annual tournament as people look for outdoor season and also have oter commitments.
About your other querry I would definately like to see all the communities getting involveed next time, we are also workig on that it could be done by limiting the numbers per team.

Firstly Guri Bhai, Good job, you have succeeded to maintain intensity in the tournament so far and the tournament has lived up to the excitement built up.
To Anonymous person, you should know that this tournament is being played to encourage sports within the Indian community and develop unity among the Indian cricketing community. Please do not disrespect the purpose.
As a team I believe in playing as a unit and fighting hard in the right spirit, with due respect to the opposition. This is what Team Oporto has been doing and will continue to do, immaterial of the result. Don’t count us out as yet!
Also, you are most welcomed to view our next game at 8:40 PM this Sunday. I will buy you a beer you’d introduce yourself ;)

Just for the records, Samir has coached majority of our team at Eden-Roskill and we've played with most players from Vikings in club cricket. We have high regards for this team, just like any other team in the league.
I personally regard Jiscant, Manoj and Angad as quality spinners and I applaud their performance in the last game, they took the game away from us. Good job boys.

firstly thank u guri bhai for the awsome tournament you are running.secondly to the ****ing
anonymous user it is quite obvious that you are pissed off and jealous that you didnt get asked to paticipate in the tounament by any team hence you are pissed off and secondly we (vikings) played team oporto before as we (vikings) have the same team wen we played them on tuesday mensI comp and they beat us twice in two weeks.this shows that any team could win on a given day and its just who perfoms the best on that day.so dont waste your time and other people's time by putting up false comments and own up who ever you are. and lastly no team in this tournament is over/under rated as its a sport and anything could happen.
so dont be a hater and just own up as you will regret this.

hi everyone , i think everyone has given fair comments and answers to the anonymous , we have to remember here that we are going to play fair and good cricket to make the tournament successful , more we discuss he gets more reasons to prove that he is successful in what he wanted to do but fortunately everyone has replied well and handled the situation in the right manner, this proves we all are about cricket and game and more over sportsmanship.
i request everyone to finish the round 3 discussion here and move onto round 4 as it is very crucial for lots of teams.
Vishal has been very upbeat for this tournament throughout so has been other people too and let us carry on with this. all the best everyone. i really appreciate Vikings for coming out fairly.
